WOW! Bernie’s in 2nd place. I was in the studio today working on a new piece and came to see how things were going. I went to her site and watched these video clips. You MUST go there to see what this amazing, courageous and angelic woman is doing for the critters. I think we should call her St. Francis….I want to know if those pups are labs and what the story is with "Karma." We are getting closer to a new dog, we lost Feats and our hearts broke open wide and we have not brought home a new baby.
This is an altar I made after she passed a few years ago. It lives in my studio and I don’t think a day passes when I don’t look at it. She was a wonder dog. She skied, wind surfed with my hubby and kayaked on his boat with him. She was an independent spirit and just the best dog anyone could have asked for. Aren’t they all? She 14.5 great years and her spirit never gave out. I am grateful for every moment I had with her.
Hmmmm…maybe it’s time for a visit to Tenn. I have had dogs in my life since the day I was born. My first dogs as an adult, were from a dumpster in Tenn. I found them while camping. They were sisters who were abandoned and left for dead. We took them back to the campsite thinking we would take them to the pound the next morning. By morning light is was LOVE and a vet to get them inoculated before taking them back to Florida where I was living at the time.
